About Us


Tokens of Life Uganda (TOLU) is a Non-Government Charity Organization that is committed to supporting vulnerable communities in poor rural areas of Uganda. We are founded on the principles of small family support groups. These self-help small support groups are built at household level and offer spiritual, moral and psycho – social support to vulnerable communities. Tokens of Life Uganda was incorporated on the 10th of October 2017 with registration number 0591 (INDR13576456NB). We have spearheaded in various community-based services in various parts of the country. Furthermore, we are an education, health, sanitation, women and youth empowerment development-oriented organization and we have over the years been able to extend coverage to many parts of Uganda respecting gender, age and citizens sexuality.


To provide the most basic needs of life and other necessities to our beneficiaries.

To offer counseling services to people with HIV/ AIDS and their families through restoration of their hope in life

To impart basic and vocational skills and values accompanied with proper human morals through providing education and quality health services to our beneficiaries

To build/ strengthen the capacity of individuals/ institutions to provide care and support services to persons and families infected or affected by HIV and AIDS

To build and support community-based efforts initiated to respond and reduce the illiterate rate


To see a community where vulnerable and disadvantaged women, youth and men live positive and sustainable lives and child survival is a right.


To prevent diseases, promote health, social economic development and status of vulnerable and disadvantaged women, children, youth and men in community setting through adopting behavior change communication strategy and also offering services that are scientific alternatives to harmful traditional practices affecting their health and stand of living.


To serve the poor rural communities through social service provision, psychosocial support, and socio-economic strengthening.


A God-fearing society free from poverty, disease, ignorance and where individuals have equal access to all basic human needs.


To reduce morbidity and mortality among vulnerable and disadvantaged women, children, youth and men especially those living with HIV/ AIDs.
